ArtsBeat is Tara Arts' dynamic young people's theatre scheme.

Are you interested in performing or working behind the scenes in theatre?

Are you aged 14-23?

If the answer to both these questions is yes, ArtsBeat is for you!

ArtsBeat has produced imaginative and refreshing Shakespeare productions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Othello and The Taming of the Shrew, all performed at Tara Theatre. In 2008 ArtsBeat performed in front of thousands of people in Trafalgar Square for the Beijing Olympics Torch Relay and in 2007 for the India Now festival.

ArtsBeat participants benefit from volunteering and placement opportunities with Tara Arts. ArtsBeat is also part of the Arts Award scheme which rewards young people for contributions to the Arts. (NVQ level 1 qualification)
